Adrien Di Fazio

Adrien Di Fazio is a self-taught French sculptor born in Normandy in 1993, whose artistic practice emerges from the convergence of science and art. Trained as an aerospace engineer, he initially pursued a conventional corporate career while continuously exploring creative expression alongside it. This dual background deeply shapes his artistic identity, where intellectual rigor meets emotional and physical engagement with form. From an early age, Adrien Di Fazio demonstrated a strong artistic sensibility, experimenting with a wide range of techniques and materials. His early creations include drawings made with nails on wooden boards, paper-mâché and resin sculptures, mosaics applied to everyday objects, jewelry making, pixel art, and even musical composition. These diverse explorations reflect a constant desire to translate emotion, structure, and rhythm into tangible forms. His artistic influences are rooted in both place and experience. Family travels to the French Riviera introduced him to major figures of contemporary art such as Yves Klein, Dalí, Niki de Saint Phalle, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Wassily Kandinsky, awakening his interest in artistic language as a vehicle for vision and meaning. At the same time, his native Normandy, cradle of Impressionism and Pointillism, and home to masters like Monet and Manet, continues to nourish his sensitivity to light, perception, and structure. Drawn to the physicality of objects and inspired by mathematics and physics, Adrien Di Fazio ultimately found his true artistic path in sculpture, where material, form, and scientific thought converge. His work embodies a dialogue between precision and intuition, intellect and emotion, offering a contemporary sculptural language rooted in both analytical thought and poetic expression.
