BIOGRAPHY

Nino is a French self-taught sculptor born in the 70s in Paris. After a career in the world of sport, he discovered sculpture by chance, which became a real passion. He designs and creates resin sculptures representing his image of the uninhibited and assumed Parisian “titi”.

The artist mocks a character taking advantage of his existence in excess and exuberance. He immersed himself in his Parisian universe: the beret, the outpouring of luxury brands, the abundance of culinary dishes, the slippers of the little opera rats…etc. Nino uses resin, the flagship medium of contemporary sculpture of the 90s/2000s, which allows him, thanks to molding techniques, to obtain creations with a remarkable finish. He also chooses to use primary colors in order to reinforce this image of simplicity, devoid of any unnecessary artifice.
